Executive Office of Club Secretary

As some of you may be aware, I have taken the decision to resign as Club Secretary from the date of the forthcoming Annual General Meeting, on February 7th 2019.  After four challenging yet hugely enjoyable years, I am forced for both personal and professional reasons to stand-down and allow others to apply for election to this prestigious and important position within the Club.

To this extent, the Club Management hopes that there will be members who are prepared to step forward and take on the challenges involved in helping to run the Club across all its aspects including the Rugby Sections, the Bar and Pitch Hire businesses and become a member of the Club Management Team.

Far from ending my involvement with the Club, I have applied for the position of Club Treasurer to continue the role I partly adopted two years ago; my intention to is to work hard to produce much needed information for those responsible for the management of the Club and its commercial objectives.   That apart, I shall support the incoming Secretary to ensure an efficient handover.

It remains for me to thank all of the friends and colleagues, past and present, I have had the pleasure of working alongside for their unstinting support and hard work, and without which many of the achievements and changes that have taken place would not have been possible.
