Win for 2s in high scoring encounter.

After the disappointment of the cancellation of the previous weeks game, Llanishen 2s were back in action away at Cardiff Quins. They took the lead with a Robin Ford try converted by Keiron MaGuire whose kicking was superb all through the match, as shown when he converted a Carl Tyres try from the touchline. The Quins pulled back seven points when they were awarded a penalty try when Llanishen players tackled a Quins player close to the try line when they hadn't retreated ten metres. The visitors though secured a try bonus point by half time with Ford and Tyres both getting second tries, Maguire again adding the extras. The fifth try came early in the second half when following a strong scrum the ball was fed to strong running centre Mike Rose to score under the posts, MaGuire converting. At this point the game looked over, but with nothing to lose the Quins started running the ball from everwhere, Llanishen started missing tackles and the home side got three tries to get a try bonus point of their own. However the game was made safe in the last minute when after good handling and inter-passing between Lewis Marshall and Elian Owen the ball was fed to Nima Agahee to cross in the corner, Maguire kept his 100% kicking record with another superb conversion. Final score Cardiff Quins 2s 22 Llanishen 2s 42.
